Job Description (and a brief statement about why your setting is such a great place to work): The Education People is aiming to become one of the leading providers of education services across the United Kingdom within five years. We are currently seeking to recruit an Early Years and Childcare Lead Childminding Adviser who will be responsible for leading a team of Childminding Advisers who provide high quality advice, support and training for prospective and existing childminders across the county of Kent.
The successful candidate will be part of a county team, and will have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The role will include steering a high performing team to support continued improvement in the sector. The successful candidate will develop and on occasion, deliver training and will make routine monitoring visits to childminders judged as inadequate by Ofsted.
The role includes close working with multiagency colleagues.
The role will require occasional evening and weekend working.
The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
