Nursery Practitioner
Ramsgate

We are looking to recruit a qualified Nursery Practitioner for our Explorers Nursery in Ramsgate working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per annum term time only.

You must be qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years Childcare (NNEB, B'TEC, NVQ) and have experience of the responsibility of care for children in a day nursery or similar setting for a minimum 2-year period.

A minimum of two years’ experience of working as a key person for children aged from 2 up to 5 years is essential and experience of caring for babies is desirable. A current paediatric first aid certificate is preferable.

The successful applicant will contribute to the day to day organisation of the room in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2017), Safeguarding and Welfare requirements, the Childcare Act 2006 and Health and Safety legislation. You will have experience of providing a safe, high quality and developmentally appropriate environment for young children.

You will be expected to support, motivate and help develop other staff working within the room and work in partnership with the nursery management team, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
